Over 3,000 new COVID cases reported in Israel yesterday for the first time since March
As the number of COVID cases in Israel continues to rise, the Coronavirus Cabinet will meet later today to discuss new restrictions.
The Ministry of Health reported 3,161 confirmed positive cases yesterday, which is the highest during this current 4th wave.
Possible restrictions include a full return to the "green passport," as well as imposing a lockdown during the Jewish holidays in September if the rate of infections continues to increase.
