09:21 - IDF and Lebanese Army call on civilians not to return to southern Lebanon until IDF withdrawal

The Israeli and Lebanese armies called on Lebanese civilians not to return to the southern part of the country until the IDF's full withdrawal, amid reports of masses streaming to the south.

“With the ceasefire coming into effect, the army is taking the necessary measures to complete its deployment in the south,” the Lebanese army said.

“The army command calls on citizens to wait before returning to frontline villages and towns that Israeli enemy forces have penetrated, awaiting their withdrawal.”

The IDF’s Arabic spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee earlier urged Lebanese civilians to return to villages in the south, “for your protection and the safety of your families.”

Footage from Beirut, Tyre, and other towns showed celebratory car convoys streaming toward the south, many of them with matresses strapped to the roof.

A Hamas official told AFP that Hamas is now ready to reach a ceasefire agreement with Israel.

“We have informed mediators in Egypt, Qatar and Turkey that Hamas is ready for a ceasefire agreement and a serious deal to exchange prisoners,” the official said, hailing the ceasefire in Lebanon while accusing Israel of obstructing an agreement in the Gaza Strip so far.

Late Tuesday evening – Last Hezbollah rocket barrages hit northern Israel

Tuesday evening, the IDF released last updates about Hezbollah attacks on northern Israel, with the last alerts being activated around 11:30 p.m. in the Golan Heights.

Earlier in the evening, widespread drone infiltration alerts were activated in the western, upper and central Galilee, including Haifa Bay and nearby regions, as the IDF hunted several hostile drones. The military later said that crashes were detected.

Shortly later, some 15 rockets were launched at Nahariya and surrounding towns.

Shortly after 10 p.m., three projectiles, probably large missiles, triggered widespread alerts near the border around Shlomi, and in the area between the Carmel Mountains and Hadera, including towns like Caesarea, Zichron Yaakov, and Yokneam.

The attacks resulted in no casualties or major damage.
