Daring raid: Israeli forces eliminate Hamas squad in Jenin hospital planning Oct. 7-style attacks against Israelis
A commando unit infiltrated the hospital dressed up as Arab doctors and nurses
An armed terror squad of Hamas terrorists that was planning an imminent attack on Israelis was eliminated by IDF, Shin Bet security and Israel Border Police forces in a daring raid of Ibn Sina Hospital in the West Bank city of Jenin early on Tuesday morning, the IDF announced.
The squad was led by 27-year-old Muhammad Jalamana, a senior Hamas terrorist who maintains contacts with the Hamas leadership abroad and who was previously injured in an attempt to carry out a car bomb attack.
The Israeli commando unit that carried out the raid entered the hospital dressed up as Arab citizens, including some who were dressed as women with headscarves, and others dressed as Muslim teachers and wearing fake beards, according to video footage reportedly captured by the hospital’s CCTV and published by Palestinian sources.

According to reports, the commando unit entered the hospital at 5:30 a.m., went straight to a hiding room on the 3rd floor, and eliminated the surprised terrorists with silencer guns.
The operation took just 10 minutes from start to finish, Israeli media reported, citing Palestinian sources.
The terrorists were based out of Jenin and the nearby refugee camp, which over recent years have become major terror hotbeds.
The IDF reported that a large number of wanted persons in the West Bank have been hiding in hospitals and using them as bases to carry out terror activities.
“This is another example of the terrorist organizations' cynical use of civilian spaces and hospitals as a shelter and human shield,” the IDF stated.
Together with squad leader Jalamana, the Israeli forces eliminated Mohammed Ghazzawi, who was involved in several terror attacks, including shooting at IDF soldiers around Jenin as part of the Jenin Brigades terror group, and his brother Bassel Ghazzawi, an active terrorist with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group.
“Jalamana planned to carry out an attack in the immediate time frame using the hospital as a hideout and was therefore thwarted. The security forces will continue to act against any threat that endangers the security of the citizens of the State of Israel,” the IDF statement concluded.
