Israeli arms embargo equals throwing in with Hamas
Upon the advice of the UN’s resident antisemite, Francesca Albanese, who claimed that she found “reasonable grounds to believe that the threshold indicating the commission of the crime of genocide against Palestinians, as a group, in Gaza has been met,” gave a recommendation to implement an arms embargo upon Israel, with politicians from 12 countries already signing on to the proposal. They include signatories from the UK, Australia, France, Belgium, Canada, Brazil, Spain, Netherlands, Ireland and Turkey, as well as U.S. Democratic congresswomen Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib.
Voiced in their letter, it states that “an arms embargo has moved beyond a moral necessity to become a legal requirement.”
Albanese, defined as an “expert” on human rights abuses, carries the title of UN Special Rapporteur but might be more accurately categorized as a shadow collaborator with the savage terrorist group Hamas, because, by attempting to take away Israel’s fighting capabilities, she is aiding and abetting brutal murderers, rapists, those who behead and burn babies as wipe out entire families.
While she may not be willing to publicly admit what is clearly a disgraceful display of support to subhuman terrorists, who planned a demonic massacre, no one can argue that Albanese’s decision to view Israel, a free democratic society, which has always rushed to aid of nations in distress, is less worthy of consideration than the savage men who broke the pelvises of women and stuffed babies into ovens. Is Francesca Albanese even human? There seems to be no evidence of that!
Leading the charge to defame and humiliate Israel, Albanese has shown that she is incapable of all objectivity and devoid of reason. But the provocateur is no stranger to controversy when in 2014 she “described the U.S. as ‘subjugated by the Jewish lobby’ and Europe by a ‘sense of guilt about the Holocaust.’”
Her insistence upon seeing Israel through the lens of criminality and guilt stems from her obvious world view which is typical of global elites who disparage faith, family and honor. This is evidenced by her accusation of how Israel and American Evangelical Christians have “weaponized antisemitism in order to silence her and other critics of Israel.”
Referring to Hamas’ actions as “resistance,” rather than the terrorism which is obvious to any sane person, she had no choice but to begrudgingly hold them responsible for the October massacre they committed upon innocents, although her emphasis always reverts to “making sure that Israel abides by international law” as they defend themselves and seek to eradicate an enemy set on destroying them.
So how would imposing sanctions, in the form of an arms embargo directly impact the Jewish state?
One analyst for Haaretz, an Israeli online news service believes that such a punitive measure might not be as simple as it sounds when it comes to trying to injure Israel’s military capability. The writer points back to 1982, a time when the U.S., under the leadership of then-U.S. President Ronald Reagan, resorted to sanctions “by imposing delays on the delivery of F-16 fighter jets.” Even back then, it didn’t stop Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin from doing what he felt he had to do – in this case, invading Lebanon.
A more subtle and clever way, though, of trying to derail Israel’s fighting power could be to utilize the Pentagon as a means of implying a “global shortage” of needed munitions, pointing to “depleted arsenals of NATO members who are just starting to replenish their stocks, making it more difficult to get hold of them, causing Israelis to have to wait a bit longer.” The hope is that this type of deceptive camouflage could “constrain IDF operations in Gaza.”
The consequence of such actions, however, could leave Israel in an extremely vulnerable and weakened position should Lebanon choose to conduct a war of its own against Israel. But given the acknowledged status of Hezbollah, as a terrorist entity, would the U.S. really want to tie our hands so as not to be able to eradicate an enemy who also seeks to destroy the Jewish state? The writer expresses doubt, stating that the relationship between the U.S. and Israel is much more complex than one that involves weapons supplies.
In short, there is no assurance that a weapons embargo would be enough of a punishment or deterrent to accomplish the purposes of a ceasefire and an end to the fighting. In fact, a deep rift between the two countries could result in more harm to the U.S. than to Israel, since they also have a lot to lose, both in terms of credibility, for indirectly assisting terrorists, as well as the loss of a great deal of intelligence and innovative know-how, currently provided to them by our country.
So, while the blustering continues, all designed to frighten and alienate Israel from “the civilized world,” no one should have any illusions as to what’s really going on, because those who would choose to take away weapons from a moral military, fighting a moral war, for the sake of its own country as well as all of humanity, are not worthy of being numbered among “civilized nations,” for they have lost their ability to recognize evil even when it hits them squarely in the face.
The big takeaway here is that terrorism has been desensitized in a way that it can be justified as resistance, freedom fighting, a legitimate form of conflict and an appropriate method that is no longer looked upon as a diabolic atrocity that must be obliterated by any right-thinking government which rejects depravity. And that is the great crime against humanity – that the guardians and keepers of liberty have somehow gone to the dark side without even realizing it.
It’s almost as if the need among these, once, clear-thinking individuals, to be accepted by the global elite jet-setters, has superseded their retention of rationale and proper judgment, because there is no other explanation for why anyone would excuse the horrors of October 7 and seek to punish the nation fighting against the tyranny which is a threat to all mankind.
The blindness and stupor that has set in, facilitating a daze and dulling of the conscience is astounding at a time when sound analysis and reasoning sense are desperately needed to call out the blatant evil in our midst. Consequently, those who are now advocating for an arms embargo have lost the ability to provide any guidance to a world that is rapidly slipping into the abyss of destruction.
