Biden-Bennett summit set to take place soon at White House
After being pushed back from yesterday, the long awaited meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will take place this morning in Washington.
Bennett touched down in Washington earlier this week and met with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. He was set to meet with Biden on Thursday, but the deadly suicide bombings against American troops and Afghan civilians in Kabul forced Biden to delay the meeting.
High on the agenda will likely be the Biden administration's intent to revive the nuclear deal with Iran, something that Israel has vehemently opposed.
