WATCH: Urgent Prayer Points: Stand with persecuted Christians in Syria
Welcome to ALL ISRAEL Prayer Points. Over 1,000 civilians from minority communities – most of them Alawites, but also some Christians—have been murdered in Syria this past week. As believers, we stand in prayer for their protection, justice, and strength. We ask God to shelter the vulnerable, bring an end to the violence, and strengthen Syrian believers in their faith.

Shalom, I’m Kayla Sprague, and welcome to this week’s ALL ISRAEL Prayer Points.
As followers of Jesus, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, and today, our hearts break for our brothers and sisters just across Israel’s northern border. Over 1,000 civilians from minority communities – most of them Alawites, but also some Christians – have been murdered in Syria this past week. In the face of this suffering, we hold onto Psalm 9:9: "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble."
Let’s pray together focusing on these key points:
We ask God to protect Christians and minority communities. Psalm 91:4 says, "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge." May those in danger find shelter and strength.
Let’s pray for justice and an end to the bloodshed. Amos 5:24 declares, "Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream." We ask God to bring justice and stop the violence against the innocent.
We ask God to strengthen the Syrian Believers. Jesus said in Matthew 5:10, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." May believers in Syria stand firm in faith and not grow weary.
Let’s pray for peace and reconciliation in Syria. Romans 15:13 says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him." We ask God to raise up leaders who will pursue unity and healing.
Even as we pray for Israel, we also stand with those suffering beyond our borders. Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Thank you for praying with us and for being intercessors on behalf of God’s heart for this entire Middle Eastern region. Your prayers matter and, together, we stand in faith for His justice, protection and peace.
