Trump, after winning stunning, historic comeback: God spared my life for a reason

Trump says 'I'm not going to start a war; I'm going to stop the wars'

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL -- After two assassination attempts and ferocious attacks against him by progressive Democrats and most of the "mainstream media," former President Donald J. Trump will be the next President of the United States, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris.

JD Vance, currently a U.S. Senator from Ohio, will be the next vice president.

Fox News projected Trump the victory at 8:46 a.m. Israel time, after affirming that Trump was the winner in key battleground states of Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

The New York Times also projected a Trump win, giving him a 95% chance of taking the election as of 7:51 a.m. Israel time.

Trump and Vance owe their victory in large part to a massive coalition of Evangelical Christian voters, of which they won upwards of 81%.

Pro-Israel voters also overwhelmingly backed Trump and Vance based on Trump's previous record of historic support for the Jewish state.

The ticket also attracted huge numbers of Hispanic, African American, and young voters, winning them in much higher numbers than most Republicans have won in the past.

Elon Musk, CEO of the 𝕏 social media platform and who increasingly became involved in politics in support of Trump over the election cycle, said that U.S. voters gave Trump "a crystal-clear mandate for change."

Musk is expected to receive a key role in Trump's cabinet following his key support for Trump and his successes in the several businesses he oversees, including 𝕏, SpaceX, and Tesla.

Republicans have also won control of the U.S. Senate, flipping at least two seats from Democrat to Republican.

While Democrats were hopeful that they could flip control of the House of Representatives to their control, at publication time, the Republicans appear to have maintained control of the House.

At the time of publication, President Trump was starting comments at his campaign's watch party in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is expected to announce his successful re-election to the White House.

Vice President-elect JD Vance called it "the greatest political comeback in American history."

"I think that we just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States of America," Vance said, to huge cheers.

"Under President Trump's leadership, we're never going to stop fighting for you, for your dreams, for the future of your children.

"And after the greatest political comeback in American history, we're going to lead the greatest economic comeback in American history – under Donald Trump's leadership."

Israeli politicians began posting congratulatory statements to social media after the announcement.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich posted on 𝕏: "God bless Israel. God bless America."

Shortly after Trump's victory speech ended, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a congratulatory message to America's next U.S. President and First Lady Donald and Melania Trump.

"Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback!" Netanyahu posted.

He further said that Trump's victory "offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America."

Across the Middle East, there were several positive reactions, especially from countries part of the Abraham Accords, which President Trump oversaw during his first term.

United Arab Emirates strategic political affairs analyst Amjad Taha congratulated the U.S. for electing Trump.

During his victory speech, Trump also referred indirectly to Israel's current war in Gaza and Lebanon.

Regarding his previous term, he said, "We had no wars, for four years we had no wars. Except we defeated ISIS."

"We defeated ISIS in record time, but we had no wars," Trump continued.

"They said 'he will start a war'. I'm not going to start a war; I'm going to stop the wars," the president-elect stated.

While President Trump was a strong supporter of Israel during his first term, and throughout his campaign, in recent weeks he began to promise that he would end the war upon taking office. He has not said how he intends to bring the war to a close, especially in light of the tense security situation with Iran.

This is a developing story.....
