On THE ROSENBERG REPORT: UNPRECEDENTED: Iran attacks Israel – What will Israel do next?

Joel Rosenberg breaks down exactly what happened the night Iran launched its first-ever direct attack on Israel and what lies ahead

It has been the most eventful, dangerous week in Israel since Hamas invaded its territory on Oct. 7 with its army of terror. For the first time, the Islamic Republic of Iran launched a direct assault on the Jewish state, with more than 320 suicide drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles carrying over 85 tons of explosives.

ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg, host of THE ROSENBERG REPORT on TBN, was on the ground during that dark, dramatic night. In this week’s episode, he breaks down what happened and what the options are for Israel moving forward.

“I urge Lynn to go to our bomb shelter while I go outside to see what’s happening,” Rosenberg described. “Suddenly, the air raid sirens all over Jerusalem begin to sound. And coming from the east – across Jordanian airspace and across the Jerusalem night sky – I see at least a dozen, maybe 15, Iranian missiles and drones streaking overhead.”

“I immediately start filming them on my phone and explaining what I’m seeing, even as I start seeing and hearing some of them being intercepted. It was a bizarre and surreal sight – never in my 37 years of traveling to Israel, nor in my 10 years of living here, have I seen missiles coming over Jerusalem from the east,” he recounted.

Why did Iran choose to escalate?

“What makes the situation unprecedented is that never before in Israel’s 76-year modern history have the ayatollahs and mullahs in Tehran ever chosen to launch a direct attack on the Jewish state from Iranian soil,” said Rosenberg.

Despite the heavy bombardment, not a single Israeli citizen or resident was killed by the Iranian strikes, in what Rosenberg defined as a “miracle, given how much firepower Iran had fired our way.”

Iran's assault by air could have had much more devastating results for Israel, had it not been so successfully repelled with the help of the United States, the United Kingdom, France and regional partners like Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Rosenberg noted that because 99% of the Iranian missiles had been shot down, President Biden is making the argument that a retaliatory strike by Israel would just escalate the situation and trigger a massive regional war.

Is that what caused a delay in Israel’s response?

What could an Israeli retaliation look like?

“It is not an exaggeration to say that the entire region is on edge,” Rosenberg added.

“I have to say I’m very concerned about Biden,” Rosenberg said of the U.S. president.

“Yes, he did the right thing in ordering American forces to help shoot down Iranian missiles and drones to protect Israel last week. But he’s absolutely wrong to publicly tell Israel to stand down from retaliating.”

What should President Joe Biden do to send Iran a clear warning while strengthening Israel?

Is Biden doing enough to get all of the hostages out of Gaza?

How specifically should Evangelicals be praying in this critical hour?

Don’t miss this week’s episode.

THE ROSENBERG REPORT airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. EST and Saturday nights at 9:30 p.m. EST – on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the most-watched Christian television network in the United States.
