Tonight on THE ROSENBERG REPORT, I’ll discuss importance of giving thanks to God even in the darkest hour
Also, my conversation with Glenn Beck about Russia, Iran and the End of Days
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL — November is my favorite month.
And having been born and raised in the United States, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.
But I know all too well that many Jews and Christians are struggling to be thankful this year.
That’s why tonight on THE ROSENBERG REPORT, I’ll focus on some of the things that I’m thankful for this month, despite this ghastly war that we’re in against Hamas, and despite so many other wars and rumors of wars and economic and political and religious tensions and divisions all over the world.
The Bible — both the Old Testament and the New — commands us to keep our eyes fixed on the God who loves us and is ready to be our Good Shepherd, regardless of the storms raging all around us.
It’s terribly hard to do in times like these — and yet even more essential.
So, I hope you’ll tune in for our discussion of being thankful in dark days.
Tonight, I’ll also discuss the Biden-brokered deal with Hamas to release 50 Israeli hostages this weekend, explain the grave dangers facing Palestinian Christians in Gaza, and explain why Christians around the world can and must intercede on behalf of these precious brothers and sisters, even if we might have political and theological disagreements with them.
Finally, I’ll share my recent conversation with Glenn Beck about the bizarre and highly dangerous convergence of Russian Orthodox End Times theology with Iranian Shia Twelver End Times theology.
And why a Putin advisor named Aleksandr Dugin is someone you need to be aware of and concerned about.
THE ROSENBERG REPORT airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).
You’ll also be able to watch it on the TBN app and at www.RosenbergReport.TV.
For now, let me share with you a series of scriptures that I love because they turn my heart towards giving thanks to the Lord at all times, even in – or especially in – my darkest hours.
Hope you find them helpful, as well.
1 Chronicles 16:34
O, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;
for His steadfast love endures forever!
1 Chronicles 29:12-13
Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand are power and might, and in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank You, our God, and praise Your glorious name.
Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.
Psalm 69:30
I will praise the name of God with a song;
I will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
Psalm 95:1-5
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In His hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.
Psalm 100:4
Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!
Jeremiah 30:19
Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving,
and the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will make them honored, and they shall not be small.
Daniel 2:23
To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for You have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of You, for You have made known to us the king’s matter.
Jonah 2:9
But I, with the voice of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to You; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the Lord!
1 Corinthians 1:4
I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 9:11-12
You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.
Ephesians 5:20-21
[Give] thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication — with thanksgiving — let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 2:6-7
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 3:15-17
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 4:2
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
