Tonight on THE ROSENBERG REPORT, Christians under attack in Israel – and a sneak peek at ‘Golda,’ new movie about legendary prime minister who saved Israel from annihilation in 1973
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – As physical and verbal attacks against Christians and Messianic Jews in Israel continue to spike, we have to ask several critical questions.
Why are these attacks happening?
Why now?
Who is responsible for the attacks?
And what can be done to stop this terrible trend?
What’s more, why has Israel’s Ministry of Interior turned against Christians?
Why are MOI bureaucrats suddenly and systematically denying clergy visas for pro-Israel Christian organizations that operate in Israel and are so important to supporting and defending Israel all over the world?
I’ll examine these critical issues on tonight’s episode of THE ROSENBERG REPORT, and call on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to intervene immediately to defend all followers of Jesus.
I’ll also look at which leaders in Israel have stepped forward courageously to defend Christians and to call for an immediate end to these attacks.
Then, we’ll shift gears.
A major new motion picture called GOLDA releases this weekend.
It stars Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, playing the role of legendary Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, the first and only woman premier in the history of the Jewish state – and delivering an Oscar-worthy performance.
The film takes us inside Golda’s world – inside her inner circle, comprised solely of men – as she faces the surprise invasion of Israel by Egypt in the south and Syria in the north on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish faith, 50 years ago this fall.
How did Golda and her generals not see the invasion coming?
How close did Israel come to total annihilation?
How close did Golda come to using Israel’s top secret – and still never admitted to – nuclear weapons to save the day?
And how did Golda turn the tide and ultimately win the war when all hope seemed to be lost?
