Stabbing attack in Huwara injures 20-year-old Israeli
A 20-year-old Israeli man was slightly injured on Thursday in a stabbing attack in Huwara. He was taken for medical treatment at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.
The female terrorist who stabbed a young man was shot by Israel Defense Forces and sustained serious injuries. She was transported to Rafidiya Hospital in Nablus (biblical Shechem) by the Red Crescent emergency ambulance service.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health later announced that the terrorist, Iman Awda, a 26-year-old resident of Huwara, was pronounced dead.
Samaria Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan said the attack proves “that eliminating terrorists, as important as it is, does not stop terror."
"We demand, now, that there be an offensive attack on the Palestinian Authority's terror nests, until all the weapons have been collected, and that all the security checkpoints be reinstated," Dagan said.
