Settlers attack vehicles near Huwara in response to killing of 2 Israelis on Saturday
According to the Palestinian WAFA news agency, a group of Israeli settlers attacked vehicles near the northern entrance of Huwara on Saturday evening, following the murders of Silas (Shai) Nigerker, 60, and his son Aviad Nir, 28, at a car wash facility in the Palestinian town.
The Jewish settlers also set fires near Huwara.
Another group of settlers threw rocks at Palestinian vehicles traveling on the road north of the settlement. A video shared widely by Palestinians shows a group of Jews throwing rocks at vehicles with Palestinian license plates. In the video, someone can be heard shouting, “It’s Arab, it’s Arab!”
There were no reported Palestinian injuries from the settler attacks.
