PM Bennett announces that Israel is setting up a "global cyber shield" in the online war against cyberattacks.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke at the Cyber Week conference in Tel Aviv and invited other friendly nations to join forces to help defend against the increasing security threats of cyberattacks.
Bennett explained that this shield is at an international level, whereby private companies and governments can alert each other and collaborate in real-time when there is an attack.
Cyberattacks are consider one of the top security threats to Israel. It is estimated that one out of five businesses in Israel was a victim of cyberattacks in 2020.
