PA to assist in fighting Jerusalem wildfires
The Palestinian Authority will participate in efforts to put out the fires in the Jerusalem mountains. The PA offered Israel its help this morning.
At noon, four Palestinian fire and rescue teams from the West Bank are expected to arrive in the area to participate in the operation.
This is the third time that the PA has assisted Israel in firefighting efforts in Israel. In 2011, Ramallah helped against the massive Carmel fire. The Authority also sent eight fire crews to battle large fires that occurred in the Jerusalem hills and the north of the country in 2016. (Source: Ynet)
