MASSIVE ESCALATION: Reports of terrorists and armed drones attacking northern Israel from Lebanon
EDITOR'S NOTE: The following report was removed from the site's homepage as it turned out that it was a false alert caused by a failure of the alert system.
IDF: "Following the reports regarding an infiltration into Israeli air space from Lebanon, as of right now, a suspected infiltration has been ruled out."
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – Within the last 30 minutes, Israelis living in northern cities in the Galilee region and along the Lebanon border have come under attack.
Red Alert sirens all across the northern tier are going off non-stop.
Initial reports claim that scores of radical Islamist terrorists are penetrating Israeli airspace via manned paragliders.
At the same time, several dozen “hostile aircraft” have entered Israel, as well.
Local media are reporting that these could be armed drones.
The IDF has ordered, “all civilians in the areas where sirens were sounded are asked to enter shelters and stay in them until further notice.”
This is a massive escalation.
It means terrorist forces in Lebanon are opening up a second front in the war.
Israelis in cities and towns all across the north are fleeing office buildings, stores and restaurants to get into bomb shelters as terrorists penetrate from Lebanon.
