The current situation in the world is more dangerous than in any of his bestselling novels, author and ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg warned in an interview on Fox News Radio’s The Brian Kilmeade Show.

Speaking against the background of what Rosenberg called the “Evil Empire Summit” set for Friday, he warned against the budding alliance of the “three most dangerous nations on the planet – Communist China, Russia, and Iran.”

Rosenberg told Kilmeade that President Donald Trump’s leadership at this moment is critical to deter the ambitions of those three nations.

“The situation that we are in, right this minute, is far more dangerous than any of the New York Times bestselling novels that I've ever written. This is the highest stakes that we've ever been in, and it's about American leadership,” he stressed.

“I think Xi Jinping was ready for Harris. If Kamala Harris came in, you'd have another ‘snowflake’ and I think we would have seen a China invasion of Taiwan in 2026 or 2027. Now he's having to recalculate everything.”

Rosenberg added that Trump could also persuade the Chinese leader to carry out a tactical retreat and make Russia back off its war in Ukraine.

“China sees itself as the number one threat to the U.S. That's what my new novel, The Beijing Betrayal, is about… What if Washington gets it wrong? But Trump so far is getting it right, and I think Xi Jinping might be willing to help nudge Putin to back down so that it clears the way for China to be the dominant player in the world against the U.S., not Russia. I don't think Xi Jinping likes the fact that Putin is sucking up so much oxygen on the world stage.”

Nevertheless, Rosenberg warned about the possibility of Russia using tactical nuclear weapons due to the humiliation of the failure to conquer Ukraine, even after three years of fighting.

Putin, he warned, has to either “find a way out of this with honor, which he doesn't deserve, but we certainly want the war to end, or he's going to go crazy.”

This is why Trump brought up “World War Three” in the “dust-up” with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House, Rosenberg noted.

“That’s what Trump is talking about. And tomorrow the Chinese, the Russians, and the Iranians are all having a summit to talk about their anti-American, anti-Western alliance and how to strengthen it,” he added.

Regarding Iran, Rosenborg acknowledged that Trump’s offer to negotiate with the regime has made some Israelis nervous but added he is confident the president is setting up decisive action by “giving Iran every opportunity to come and make a deal… He's being very generous, but Iran is saying ‘hell no’.”

“So that is allowing Trump to take the opportunity to take the kill shot, to work with Israel and maybe even the Arab countries, or just go it alone and take out Iran's nuclear facilities once and for all.”

Overall, Trump is exerting great efforts to “make the American military and the Navy and the Air Force great again” and to shore up America’s alliances with friendly nations. “But there's a question of time,” Rosenberg cautioned.

“Can we gear up our military and focus in time to thwart the three most dangerous enemies on the planet?”

This is why Trump has been taking a harsher tone with ostensible allies than with America’s enemies, Rosenberg argues. “He's trying to shore up the American alliances and say, ‘Guys, you are way off the reservation. You are not playing ball. You don't get who the superpower is that you need. And you're not helping’,” he added.

Rosenberg especially warned against a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, “that small democratic island.”

The true meaning of this would be the signal to U.S. allies in the Pacific, he explained. “Every ally in the Pacific of the United States will be freaked out. They will not believe that we know how to run a Pacific alliance. And once the alliance unravels, China now has supremacy in the Pacific,” he said.

“This is why one of President Trump's most important appointments is a guy named Elbridge Colby, who is going to be, Lord willing, the undersecretary of defense under [Defense Secretary] Hegseth, for policy. And this is one of the great China experts of our time… he is warning Taiwan, as much as we love Taiwan, they are not spending enough on their own defense.”

The weakness of President Joe Biden enabled Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, who Rosenberg estimates to be the world’s most dangerous leader, to invade Ukraine.

“And Iran decided, okay, the time to attack Israel from seven directions, it's on. The only person who didn't move… is Xi Jinping, because I think he was caught off guard by how weak the United States really was. And I don't think he was really ready quite yet to invade Taiwan but now these three are pulling together, and we got to pray for our president and his senior leadership every day.”

“This is not the movies,” Rosenberg warned.

“This is not the Beijing betrayal. This is real life. And it could go very dark, very fast.”
