Israelis bracing for massive Iranian missile attack that could come at any moment

WASHINGTON, DC — After two months of traveling all across the United States to speak to Evangelicals about the multi-front war Israel has been going through since the Hamas invasion on October 7th, Lynn and I are flying to Europe tonight.

We will be meeting with key Joshua Fund allies to brief them on how the ministry we founded in 2006 to bless Israel and her neighbors in the name of Jesus has been ministering to Jews and Arabs and others over the past ten months.

We’re also going to listen to their perspectives and see how the Lord is working in and through their ministries.

In the days ahead, I’ll keep you posted on what we’re learning as best I can.

Before we take off, however, I want to tell you that every single Israeli we’re in touch with back home is bracing for a massive attack by the Iranian regime against the Jewish state.

Pastors, Messianic leaders, and other Evangelical ministry leaders and allies all across Israel tell us they are re-stocking their bomb shelters, staying tuned to radio and TV news and social media news sources, and huddling with family and friends to pray and encourage one another before the attack commences.

Many are still having cookouts and other gatherings because they don’t want to live in fear or surrender their normal lives to the terror masters in Tehran.

But there is no question that all Israelis are sobered by the magnitude of what could be coming.

In April, the Iranian regime fired over 300 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and suicide drones at the Jewish state in one night.

By God’s grace – and with the miraculous combined effort of Israeli, American, NATO and Sunni Arab military forces – upwards of 99% of all those missiles and drones were shot down before they reached Israeli airspace.

But Israelis are asking: What if Iran and its terror proxies fire 10 times that number in a single night? What if they do that night after night for weeks?

Few Israelis I know believe that Israel and its allies can shoot down 99% of the Iranian salvo night after night.

That means many missiles and drones may very well get through, causing immense damage to physical infrastructure and possible causing immense casualties.
