Israeli Arab violent crime deaths exceed 150 since start of year
Two Israeli Arab men were killed in separate shooting incidents on Saturday evening. Israel Police believe the killings are related to organized crime groups.
In one, a mother and her son were injured in a shooting incident in the village of Dahmash, near Lod. The two were taken to Shamir Medical Center, where the son, Shaaban Saleh Shaaban was declared dead.
Also on Saturday, a 30-year-old man was shot and killed in the town of Tuba-Zangariyye in northern Israel.
On Friday, two other Israeli Arab men were shot and killed in separate shootings in Kafr Qara and Zarzir.
The murders this weekend bring the total number of Israeli Arabs victims of violent crime to over 150 since the beginning of the year.
