Confirmed: US Vice President Pence not coming to Israel

U.S. Vice President of the United States has canceled his farewell trip to Israel which was supposed to take place next month.
Pence was scheduled to come to Israel from Jan. 10 to 13, seven days before the presidential inauguration. Later on Wednesday, the U.S. Embassy confirmed the cancellation, which was first reported by the Ynet news site.
No reason was given.
The Israeli government and police had already begun to prepare for the visit.
