In a recent interview on American Family Radio, ALL ISRAEL NEWS founder and Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg discussed the ongoing dangers facing Israel, emphasizing the need for solid backing from the United States and Evangelical Christians worldwide.

Speaking with Tim Rea and his co-hosts, Rosenberg provided an overview of the threats Israel faces from Iran and its proxies, as well as the broader regional implications. His message was clear: Israel is in a precarious position, and the world – especially Evangelicals – must be aware.

Rosenberg, who holds dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship and lives in Jerusalem with his family, noted that “two of our four sons have served in the Israeli army, including one of them in a special forces unit and one of them up on the Lebanon border.”

He explained that he is currently on a one-month speaking tour across the United States, briefing Evangelical leaders and laypeople on what is happening in Israel, Iran, Gaza, Lebanon, and the broader region. His goal is to mobilize Christians to pray as tensions continue to escalate.

Rosenberg criticized the U.S. leadership under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, particularly in response to the recent missile attacks from Iran.

“This is not American leadership. President Biden constantly says how much he loves Israel, how he stands with us, and how he will never allow Israel to be threatened and never allow Iran to build nuclear weapons. But here is the critical moment…Iran has crossed the line, and it's time for Israel to attack Iran's nuclear facilities and destroy them,” he told Rea during the interview.

For Rosenberg, the situation couldn’t be more dire: “We, as Israelis, are being attacked from seven different sides – from Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, from Iranian proxy terror groups in Syria, in Iraq, in the West Bank… and of course, from Iran itself, with almost 200 ballistic missiles fired at Israel on Tuesday.”

During the American Family Radio interview, Rosenberg insisted that this is the moment for the U.S. to show authentic leadership by backing Israel decisively. Yet, he is disappointed in how the Biden-Harris administration has handled the situation.

“If there were ever a moment for the United States leadership, the American president, to say, ‘Israel, we have your back. Finish the job. We’re with you.’… What moment is President Biden waiting for? I mean, this is crazy talk.”

Rosenberg also touched on the broader global consequences of U.S. inaction, noting that “every other ally of America around the world is watching, every enemy of the United States and Israel is watching.”

He emphasized the existential nature of the threat Israel faces, especially from Iran: “Iran is the existential threat to Israel. Biden knows it, but Biden is weak. Harris is weak, and they have no intention of helping Israel.” In his view, the current U.S. administration’s approach amounts to “moral bankruptcy.”

Rosenberg stressed the importance of prayer and spiritual support for Israel, framing the current circumstances in biblical terms and quoting Ecclesiastes 3:8: “There is a time for peace, and there's a time for war. This is a time for war. We didn’t start it in Israel. We don’t want it, but we have to win it.”

While Rosenberg expressed his grief over the conflict, he affirmed that this is the time in history when Israel must act decisively to defend itself, despite calls from the Biden-Harris administration, along with Harris' VP pick for the 2024 U.S. election, Gov.Tim Walz (D-MN), and others for de-escalation and ceasefire.

The belief that the United States must be a more reliable ally is at the heart of Rosenberg's message to Evangelicals. He pointed out that while Congress has overwhelmingly approved funding for Israel’s defense, including billions of dollars for arms and missile interceptors/

“President Biden signed it. He just won’t spend it. He just won’t give Israel all the weapons we need. Why? Because he's trying to leverage us into surrender.” Rosenberg called for stronger U.S. political and military support, while also urging Evangelicals to “prayerfully intercede on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.”

Rosenberg reminded listeners that Israel’s recent military successes were miraculous answers to prayer and divine intervention, including the assassination of top Hezbollah and Hamas leaders. He encouraged Evangelicals worldwide to keep praying.

“We are interceding for Israel to win. And God is hearing our prayers, and we best not stop,” he said.

Rosenberg acknowledged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political fortunes are rising despite previous criticisms, explaining that the recent unification of political factions, including opposition figures like Gideon Sa'ar, demonstrates the country’s focus on winning the war.

“There will be a time…Netanyahu will have to defend himself for the catastrophic failure on October 7th last year. But right now, we are not looking back to litigate the past. We're trying to win right now.”

The interview concluded with Rosenberg’s powerful call to action for Evangelicals: “We need to keep praying for [Netanyahu] and his people, not out of partisanship, but out of our biblical mandate to stand with Israel and bless Israel in the name of Jesus.”
