IMMINENT THREAT: US Evangelical leader warns Tehran not to attack Israel or face ‘horrific ending for Iran’
IDF on ‘high alert’ due to credible intel of imminent Iranian missile and drone attack
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL — With the Israeli Defense Forces on “high alert” this weekend due to “credible intelligence” that Iran is planning to launch a massive missile and drone attack against Israel in the next 24 to 48 hours, an American Evangelical leader is warning Tehran to stand down.
In an interview with ALL ISRAEL NEWS, Michele Bachmann — a former Member of Congress who served on the House Intelligence Committee and once ran for president — said a direct Iranian attack on Israel would bring catastrophic consequences to the Islamic Republic.
“An Iranian attack on Israel is senseless and suicidal for Iran,” Bachmann told me on Friday.
“Iran will be decimated. Israel will survive and win against any Iranian attack.”
Currently, Bachmann serves as Dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University in Virginia Beach.
She has also served on several Evangelical leadership delegations that I have led through the region, including to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan.
“A majority of Americans believe in the God of the Bible,” she noted. “Our prayers support the continuation of the Jewish state and the safety and security of all Israelis, and the immediate return of the hostages.”
“An Iranian attack against Israel will immediately cause the American giant to respond in aid of our Israeli ally.”
“Iran needs to understand the majority of members of the U.S. Congress and the American people support Israel. Any attack against Israel by Iran will be met with a full-throated response Iran will regret.”
“An Iranian attack against Israel will result in a horrific ending for Iran. Israel will prevail over Iran and Iran’s paid proxies.”
IDF ON ‘HIGH ALERT’
Bachmann’s warning comes amid heightened concerns here in Israel that the Iranian regime is planning a dramatic escalation of its ongoing and relentless proxy war against the Jewish state over the past six months since October 7th.
Israeli Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari — who currently serves as the chief spokesman for the IDF — issued the following statement on Saturday regarding Iranian involvement in the war and its effect on the Middle East.
“Iran funds, trains, and arms terror proxies across the Middle East and beyond,” noted Hagari.
“Iran-backed Hamas started this war on October 7th; Iran-backed Hezbollah expanded this war on October 8th; and since then, Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria, and Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, have expanded this into a global conflict.”
“Iran will bear the consequences for choosing to escalate”
“Iran is the world’s biggest state sponsor of terror,” Hagari stressed.
“Its network of terror doesn’t just threaten the people of Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria; the regime in Iran fuels the war in Ukraine and beyond.”

“Israel is on high alert. We have increased our readiness to protect Israel from further Iranian aggression. We are also prepared to respond. The Israel Defense Forces is prepared for all scenarios and will take the necessary steps — together with our allies — to protect the people of Israel."
