Hezbollah’s latest spy drone footage shows IDF airbase after rocket fire wounds Israeli soldier
Release of drone video allegedly meant to coincide with Netanyahu’s US visit
The Hezbollah terrorist group released its latest propaganda footage on Wednesday, showcasing one of its spy drones. The footage purportedly shows the Ramat David airbase in northern Israel.
In the third video of its kind, Hezbollah showed footage it claimed was filmed one day earlier over the Ramat David base, which is about 50 km (31 miles) from the Lebanese border. The footage included details about the squadrons in the base, the location of different buildings, such as warehouses, and the identity of the base commander.

The pro-Iran and Hezbollah channel Al-Mayadeen cited a source with Hezbollah stating that the timing of the video's publication was meant to coincide with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington, D.C.
The Israel Defense Forces stated that the Hezbollah drone was an unarmed vehicle used solely for purposes of photography, which implied that this was the reason it wasn't shot down.
“Base activity was not affected,” the Israeli military added. “The IDF and its Air Force are working against Hezbollah’s aerial array, and have attacked hundreds of targets from this array in recent months. The Air Force operates with all means to protect the skies of the State of Israel and will continue to do so.”
On Tuesday evening, the IDF announced a soldier was seriously wounded after several projectiles, most probably artillery shells, exploded near him in the area of Mount Dov. “The soldier was taken to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family was informed,” the IDF stated.
