Hezbollah drone shot down in northern Israel – IDF
The Israeli military shot down a drone likely operated by the Hezbollah terrorist organization based in southern Lebanon.
The drone crossed into Israeli airspace this afternoon and was monitored by the military throughout the incident, the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.
"The IDF will continue to prevent any attempt to violate Israeli sovereignty," the army said in a statement.
This summer, four Hezbollah drones attempted to reach Israel's Karish gas field in the Mediterranean Sea. Defense Minister Benny Gantz said the drones were made by Iran.
Just last night, Syria’s state news agency claimed that Israeli planes bombed Iranian targets near Damascus, wounding two soldiers.
