CASEPAC launches 'Lies vs. Truth' social media campaign to expose antisemitism in US Congress
Organization was founded to confront antisemitism in government
The political action committee CASEPAC (Confronting Antisemitism Everywhere) has released a new social media campaign aimed at exposing antisemitic lies from members of U.S. Congress.
When Executive Director Bryan Leib joined the organization, he promised to “go on the offensive.”
On June 22, CASEPAC launched a digital media campaign called “Lies vs Truth,” aimed at exposing lies spread by members of Congress about the Jewish community, Israel and Zionism.
“When members of Congress traffic in antisemitism, CASEPAC will expose their lies with no spin truth,” CASEPAC said.
Each release contained a graphic showing the member of Congress with a quote of the antisemitic lie, accompanied by a graphic countering the statement with the truth.
Last week, CASEPAC released a graphic showing Ilhan Omar’s antisemitic social media post accusing Jews of controlling the world and U.S. politics by using money.
This week, they are releasing the second graphic, taking on Congresswoman Cori Bush.
While CASEPAC did not say how long the campaign will run for, Leib said there is plenty of material for the campaign.
CASEPAC will be posting the campaign to its Twitter page.
