Violence in Israeli-Arab sector claims two more lives in Abu Snaan
Paramedics were called to an olive grove just outside Abu Snan early this morning, where two brothers were found shot in their upper torsos.
The paramedics declared the two brothers dead shortly after arriving on the scene when they were unable to detect any signs of life.
Two weeks ago, four men from Abu Snan were killed by gunfire in another agricultural area just outside the city. One of those men was running for a local municipality office.
The Abraham Initiatives, which works for equality among Jewish and Arab citizens, said that with these two deaths, 169 Arab-Israelis have so far died this year as a result of criminal violence.
The coalition has not been able to reduce the violence in Israel's Arab sector, and many Arabs are calling for action by the government.
