In apparent provocation, Hezbollah-affiliated group constructs building jutting into Israeli territory on Lebanese border
Israel Defense Forces observers on Wednesday identified a concrete infrastructure that jutted into Israeli territory at the Lebanese border near the community of Shtula.
The IDF coordinated with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and spoke to the Lebanese army about having the building dismantled.
Earlier this year, Hezbollah constructed two tents on the Israeli side of the Blue Line that separates Israeli territory from Lebanese territory.
Those tents were eventually abandoned and dismantled.
Last month, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant accused Iran of building an airport near the border between Israel and Lebanon.
