IDF eliminates senior Hamas weapons developer in Gaza Strip
The Israeli Air Force, operating on intelligence provided by the IDF and Shin Bet security agency, killed the head of Hamas' Weapons and Industries manufacturing department, Mohsen Abu Zina, in an airstrike on Tuesday night.
Abu Zina served as one of Hamas’ leading weapons developers and was reportedly an expert in developing strategic weapons and rockets used by Hamas terrorists.
Overnight, IDF troops also identified a terrorist cell planning to fire anti-tank missiles at the the soldiers. The IDF called in an aircraft that struck the cell and killed several terrorists.
IDF troops also directed an aircraft to a strike on a terrorist cell responsible for launching rockets toward Israel. Several terrorists were also eliminated as a result of that strike.
