Netanyahu orders Israeli Air Force to attack Iran in historic and unprecedented move – not yet clear what targets in Iran were hit. Please pray.
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL — The much anticipated military attack by Israel against the Iranian regime is underway.
In the wee hours of the night, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered Israel’s Air Force into battle in retaliation for the more than 500 ballistic missiles and suicide drones that Tehran has fired at the Israeli nation this year directly from Iranian soil.
Netanyahu and his Security Cabinet also hold the Iranian regime responsible for all of the horrific attacks against Israelis since October 7, 2023, by Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
At 1:29 a.m. local time, the spokesman of the Israeli Defense Forces issued the following statement.
“In response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the State of Israel – right now the Israel Defense Forces is conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran,” the statement began.
“The regime in Iran and its proxies in the region have been relentlessly attacking Israel since October 7th – on seven fronts – including direct attacks from Iranian soil.”
“Like every other sovereign country in the world, the State of Israel has the right and the duty to respond. Our defensive and offensive capabilities are fully mobilized.”
“We will do whatever necessary to defend the State of Israel and the people of Israel.”
This is a developing story...
