Teaching Persian hate chants to Americans. What’s next, hijab seminars?

If you’re an American citizen, attending a gathering where instruction is being given on how to chant, “Death to Israel” and “Death to America,” in the Persian language, then you clearly have too much free time on your hands. And if that’s the case, why not hop on a plane to Iran or another Islamic location where you are able to not only perfect the accent and learn many more chants to curse your own homeland, but where you can also look the part, by wearing the garb, because you really won’t have any choice.

It was at the 3:00 p.m. hour on Fox and Friends, aired on April 16, when footage was shown of anti-Israel protests, which had taken place in N.Y. and other American cities, blocking traffic and causing mayhem, that co-host, Brian Kilmeade asked the question, “Who is funding these people, because there’s no way you get up in the morning and go Hezbollah really makes a lot of sense to me. I love the rockets on civilians. It really resonates.”

Another observation was that Americans have the freedom to burn flags and chant, “Death to America,” but try chanting “Death to Gaza,” while in Gaza or any other Islamic country. You will immediately be reminded that you are no longer in Kansas.

But what is the fascination for free Americans to learn how to curse the country that their enemies want to obliterate? Do they think that Iranian revolutionary guard fighters would be careful to make sure that the rockets they launch on America would somehow miss their homes, keeping them out of harm’s way, from a brutal army who doesn’t care to differentiate between American pro-Iranian supporters and ordinary, everyday Americans?

And what’s the next step in this cultural identification with haters of Americans? Will there be Zoom seminars on how to properly wear a hijab or where to purchase a prayer mat in order to adhere to the Muslim call to worship five times a day in every American city? Are there truly born and bred Americans who genuinely believe that it’s time to abandon the freedoms and liberties with which they have become accustomed, in favor of taking on an entirely new persona of “terrorist sympathizer?”

We know that nearly every American generation contained individuals who gravitated to protest movements, calling into question everything from inequality of civil rights to U.S. participation in certain wars being waged abroad, but never has there been a magnetic pull to join forces with an avowed enemy, which seeks to bring destruction and annihilation to one’s country and fellow citizens. This is the polar opposite of what took place prior to WWII when young men eagerly volunteered to go to war to fight for American principles and honor.

How did it all turn completely opposite within the span of less than 100 years?

The only answer is that a blinding delusion has fallen upon this generation of youth who neither value their liberties, way of life nor understand the bondage and total subjugation that would be their daily existence if they were to swap lands and live in a country which looks better to them from afar.

We know from many of these oppressive nations that citizens are imprisoned for the slightest infractions. Criticizing one’s leaders, religious practices, clothing, culture or anything else can land you in prison for life, in the best-case scenario or guarantee you an immediate death sentence if you are viewed to be enough of a threat who would be able to influence others. Women, especially have no rights and are literally seen as property.

Most everyone is familiar with the story of “Jina Mahsa Aminia, the 22-year-old Iranian-Kurdish woman who was arrested for allegedly not observing Iran’s mandatory hijab law.” Having become the poster child for advancing the rights of women, she mysteriously died in a Tehran hospital after her arrest. Her story is far from unique.

These brutal regimes clamp down on anyone who is not in robotic lockstep with their forced ideology and mandatory rules that are meant to govern every area of one’s life – from religious practice to attire to full political allegiance. There is no room for independent thought or preference. What works, in theory, on American streets and bridges is not at all what works in practice for those who have the misfortune of being born in a place like Iran, Gaza or any other theocratic country.

It is this ignorance or willful disregard of these tyrannical governments, which are hailed as being preferable to the land of the free and the home of the brave, that attests to the deluding spirit which has so blinded American youth, that they are not discerning enough to understand that rather than following the parted waters of the Red Sea in the path of freedom, they prefer to make a U-turn in the direction of the pursuing armies, in chariots, coming to kill them.

It is, consequently, a kind of insanity which has gripped their minds, rendering them incapable of self-preservation, not to mention betrayal of their families, friends and neighbors who are also part of the hated class of Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas. By supporting these demons, they have lost all perspective of danger, similar to a person who has no nerve sensation but whose hand is on fire. Their basic survival instincts have become imperiled, no longer capable of sending off warning signals that trouble is lurking, resulting in great harm.

This is what happens when someone freely gives up their capacity to reason, consider and weigh the consequences of obvious forms of hatred, bigotry, mind control and power-grabbing. They are no longer in a position to run from the threat which will leave them helpless and hopeless, something which would not have happened had they thought for themselves.

But these days, thinking is outsourced to others who try to tell everyone what is just, moral and even normal. The problem is that if they have also become infected by a delusional narrative, masquerading as social justice, those who follow suit run the risk of taking on their deception and distorted viewpoint simply because it is popular and trendy.

There is no dissecting of the thought process which is terribly flawed and doesn’t account for future consequences or negatively-impacting outcomes. But no ideology is free from repercussions, especially one that is grounded in hate and murder.

Making this discovery, when it’s already too late, leaves no time for regret, something which many of the murdered kibbutz members, found out when they came face to face with savage terrorists who didn’t separate them out as those who had championed Palestinian civil rights, something in which they fervently believed. At that moment, they, together with everyone else, were brutally killed by the wave of evil which swept their entire communities.

This is why it is so vital that evil is identified, understood and eradicated before it has a chance to finish the rest of us off.
