Blinken crosses the line by saying Israel could become indistinguishable from Hamas

It’s almost unimaginable to listen to what depths a political appointee will go in order to please his boss. That applies to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken who, while attending a ceremony at NATO Headquarters in Brussels on April 4th, shamefully attempted to draw a comparison between the barbaric and savage massacre, rape and brutalizing of women, beheading of babies and burning of whole families to the State of Israel by making the false accusation we have not provided enough food for Gazans.

This was the report by Times of Israel, stating, “US Secretary of State Blinken warns that Israel risks becoming indistinguishable from Hamas if it continues to fail to protect civilians amid the Gaza war.”

The libelous parallel would be stunning coming from most anyone, but from a fellow Jew is beyond malicious. It is nothing more than a cruel betrayal of his people and the Jewish homeland, both of whom he knows better than to accuse of wantonly starving others – even those who cheered and celebrated the attack which left everyone breathless after hearing the shocking details of what had taken place.

How callous and self-interested does one have to be in order to sell out his own – by suggesting that we are on the brink of becoming monstrous terrorists who lack all morality and decency? There are simply no words for such an equating of good with evil, yet, when told to do it, Blinken rises to the occasion.

Well, here is another comparison, except this one happens to be true. Biden, knowing that a growing part of his base is virulently anti-Israel, to the point of showing contempt for all Diaspora Jews, the vast majority of whom have absolutely no association with Israel, must make a convincing show of how he’s putting the screws to our country. Doing it himself, however, would damage his standing amongst his Jewish constituency, which traditionally has mostly voted Democrat. So, instead, he sends out his willing footman to fight a verbal proxy war on his behalf.

How does that make the U.S. president any different from Iran whose Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthi proxies are more than happy to do their dirty work for them?

And how much humanitarian aid is enough in order to satisfy the never-ending demands of the Biden administration? Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has promised to boost the already massive assistance which has been ongoing, even agreeing to “open a new land crossing into the Gaza Strip, from the northern part of the Gaza border, designed mainly to facilitate deliveries to Palestinians of aid from oversees or from neighboring Jordan. Additionally, Gaza-bound aid shipments will be received at its southern port of Ashdod.”

With an anticipated new goal of “at least 500 trucks per day,” literally flooding the area with all that is necessary, who could even suggest that Israel is indifferent or derelict in their willingness to provide whatever is needed? So, this is really not about bringing in enough supplies. That is the guise, but given the great efforts that have already been expended towards making sure that a humanitarian crisis is not laid on our doorstep, despite Israel not starting this war, we have “set up a maritime corridor for direct deliveries of aid to Gaza by sea and have opened our airspace to foreign planes which have parachuted in aid for Palestinians.”

Does that sound like a country whose inhabitants are on par with the most hardened terrorists who are able to turn off their conscience, at will, in order to perpetrate the most heinous of crimes against humanity? If not, why bother to make the comparison?

It is because there needs to be a great blurring of the lines between civilized and uncivilized people in order to justify the Israel-bashing that is necessary in order to placate the Jew haters who now make up a sizable percentage of the Democratic party and who won’t be happy until Israel is held guilty for being the most immoral, the most despicable and the most hated and despised people who were ever born. That way, no one will feel bad when plotting their end.

Yes, I realize how dark and disturbing all this sounds, but for anyone who appreciates honesty, this is exactly what is going on, and Blinken, a Jew is a willing participant in creating a false and defamatory image of the only Jewish homeland to the rest of the world. But, as a Jew, does he think that he will escape the deluge of contempt which is being unleashed in full measure, so long as he does the proxy bidding of the Biden administration?

If he does, he might do well to remember the words of another Jew named Mordechai, Queen Esther’s cousin, who warned her with these solemn words, “Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the Jews.” (Esther 4:13).

It’s true. Blinken, a Jew, who has chosen to turn on his people, at a time when they have shown great moral courage and valor, during the worst attack which has ever befallen their country, cannot safely hide in the ‘king’s palace,” thinking that he will be exempt from the same despising which is directed at all Jews. If anything, he will be looked upon with even greater disdain for having crossed a line by being so unprincipled as to suggest that Israel and her people are no better than savage terrorists.

In the biblical account, Esther, realizing that her cousin was right, chose to throw in with her own people as she gathered them, asking that they fast along with her for three days and nights, risking her life as she approached the king in an attempt to save her own. Her courageous and selfless act landed her an honored place in the history of the Jewish people as she remembered and considered why she had been placed in such a pivotal role, affording her a platform before the king at a time when her people were in peril.

Antony Blinken would do well to also consider that he has been placed in a position where he could do what is right for Israel rather than be a proxy fighter for an administration that is unable to stand up to a constituency whose latent antisemitism has now exploded in full force, threatening to pull their vote if the administration sides with Israel.

Although it would be nice to expect just a small bit of integrity from the president who claims he has always been on our side, we don’t, but what we do expect is for a fellow Jew to remember his people while they’re accused of crossing the line into depravity, because if he truly believes that, then the only one who has crossed that line is him.
