Democrat candidate Joe Biden said he feels confidents he is on track to win the 2020 presidential elections, but he also warned that no victory should be declared until every vote is counted - something that could take days or even longer.

"We knew because of the unprecedented early vote, the mail-in vote, that is was gonna take awhile," he told drive-by supporters in Delaware after midnight. "We're going to have to be patient until the hard work of tallying the votes is finished. And it ain't over until every vote is counted, every ballot is counted."

"But we're feeling good," he said.

Biden was elated to have turned Arizona, a state that voted Republican in the last election. He also expressed optimism that he could win Georgia, Wisconsin and Michigan despite the early numbers favoring incumbent Donald Trump.

"I'm here to tell you tonight we believe we are on track to win this election."

"And, by the way it's gonna take time to count the votes, but we're gonna win Pennsylvania," he declared.

Pennsylvania has become the king maker of this election with its 20 electoral votes.

"Look, we can know the results as early as tomorrow morning, but it might take a little longer. As I've said all along, its not my place or Donald Trump's place to declare who won this election - that's the decision of the American people. But I'm optimistic about the outcome."

Many of the votes could be subject to legal dispute and Trump has already warned of suspected voter fraud and that he would bring in the Supreme Court if necessary.

At 3 a.m. EST, many networks declared that six states - Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin - were too close to call. Some of these states said it was too soon to know when officials results would be in.

Voter turnout this year is expected to break records. Early voting already did with 100 million votes cast before Election Day.

Biden encouraged his supporters: "Keep the faith guys, we're gonna win this."
