IDF rescue team miraculously saves 23-year-old under Turkish rubble
In a miraculous search and rescue mission by the Israel Defense Forces in Turkey, an intense four-and-a-half hour effort to extract a 23-year-old woman from the rubble of a collapsed building proved successful.
As the death toll passed 11,000, resulting from the 7.8-magnitude earthquake and Tuesday’s 7.6-magnitude earthquake, the efforts of local and international responders continued to save lives.
The young woman was happily reunited with her fiancée and will be treated for a fractured pelvis, the only injury she suffered when the building collapsed.
