17 suspects arrested overnight for terrorist activity
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Israeli Border Police and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) arrested 17 residents of Samaria and Judea overnight on suspicions of terrorism.
One of the arrests came after security forces in Hebron identified a suspicious vehicle with four occupants, later found to be transporting an illegal weapon.
Around the same time, Israeli forces in Nablus conducted two arrests of individuals wanted for terror activity, and detained another eight individuals from several villages near Ramallah.
Suspects in both Nablus and Qalqilya hurled stones at the Israeli authorities, necessitating the use of riot dispersal methods.
Overnight, shots were fired at an IDF outpost in Jenin, with no casualties. The outpost itself sustained some damage.
