12 Israelis lightly wounded by Hezbollah missile as northern front heats up again
Anti-tank missile targeted IDF vehicle near Beit Hillel
Twelve Israelis were wounded by the explosion of a missile fired by Hezbollah at an IDF vehicle near Moshav Beit Hillel on Sunday afternoon, as tensions on Israel’s northern border heated up again after almost a week of quiet during the truce between Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip.
The Ziv Medical Center in Safed said it admitted 12 Israelis who were wounded by the explosion of an anti-tank missile. The injured – 11 men and one woman – are between the ages of 20 and 65 and suffered light shrapnel wounds.
The IDF later confirmed that four of the wounded were IDF soldiers.

The terror organization Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack. In addition, it carried out several more rocket and missile attacks against Israel throughout the day, including against targets near Zar’it, Mount Dov, Kibbutz Dafna, Hanita, and others.
Several projectiles fell in Lebanese territory or in open areas in Israel, with no damage or injuries resulting from the attacks. The Israeli army reacted by shelling the launch areas with artillery and later carried out airstrikes against Hezbollah targets.
Israeli fighter jets destroyed terrorist infrastructure and military targets, the IDF stated.
According to unconfirmed Lebanese reports, the IDF also carried out a precision strike against a car driving between the towns of Houla and Chaqra, near the border.
In addition to the attacks from Lebanese territory, the IDF also stated that a rocket launch was detected from Syria. The projectile fell in an open area and the IDF responded with artillery fire.
During the 7-day truce between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah unofficially joined the ceasefire, with the border largely remaining quiet during that time.
Hezbollah joined the fighting between Hamas and Israel soon after the outbreak of war on Oct. 7, shooting rockets and missiles toward Israeli territory, with daily attacks reaching dozens of launches per day at its peak.
The terror organization has confirmed over 80 deaths among its forces so far.
